Orbita Ingenieria was at the 9th Infrastructure Congress of Colombia
Orbita Ingenieria was present as an exhibitor at the Infrastructure Congress held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, during the days 28th, 29th and 30th of November 2012.
This Congress is the largest gathering of companies around transport infrastructures and construction of the South American country, and during the three days more than 2,000 people involved in some way with the engineering sector in construction, ports , transportation and logistics were present at the event.
To highlight the importance of the event, it was closed by the nation's president, Juan Manuel Santos, who gave a speech in which he emphasized the need for the engineering and infrastructure to be the engine that will move the country in the next years.
Órbita took a stand in which we had automation products for ports and terminals (GateSuite) as well as products for the water sector, such as remote controls, communications, SCADA and distributed control systems for hydraulic networks. Both types of solutions generated great interest among those attending the Congress.
